Most SEO companies use a variety of Search Engine Optimisation Tools, when they are working with a site, to help maximise its optimisation.
This article details three very useful website that provide a wide range of search engine optimisation tools that we would recommend.
1) Google Web Master Tools:
As always the product Google offers is excellent.  There are a huge range of tools that can benefit your site, for example, you can use the Web Master Tools to submit your Sitemap to Google  This will ensure that all the pages within your site will be indexed (i.e. found) by Google.

2) SEO Chat:
This site has about 30 different SEO Tools.  Most of them are very useful.  For example if you are trying to decide what keywords you should optimize your site for, then there is a tool called Keyword Difficulty that indicates how difficult a phrase will be to optimise.  This can be used when trying to recommend phrases to a customer for a fixed budget.
 
3) BackLink Watch Check:
This is an excellent site (if you ignore the fact that it does not work with Internet Explorer).  It allows you to analyse the back links of any website.  It provides the sites name (that is linking to the site you are checking for) and the anchor text of the link which is very useful when performing competitor analysis.
