I have recently come across a list of the top 10 search engine optimisation companies in the UK, well what is it based on i hear you cry… well it sees to be turnover, the number of clients, size of the client and current staff. Nothing in there about how well there customers sites perform.

I have always been under the impression that optimisation companies who deal with blue chip companies have an easier time. If a large client with global / National recognition comes to you and asks you to optimise for a keyphrases that represents there known business, then the public have already done a section of the work involved. Surely then achieving national results with small / medium unknown customers is a better achievement.
